iDev signed a cooperation agreement with NUS School of Computing to jointly establish an AI Application Lab, focusing on multimodal AI and NLP research and commercialization.
产学研深度融合 iDev与新加坡国立大学计算机学院正式签署战略合作协议，双方将共同成立"iDev-NUS AI应用实验室"，致力于将前沿AI研究成果转化为实际商业应用。 合作内容 实验室将重点开展以下研究方向： 多模态AI：研究文本、图像、语音等多种模态数据的融合理解与生成 领域大模型：针对金融、法律、医疗等垂直行业训练专业化大语言模型 AI安全与对齐：探索AI系统的安全性评估和价值对齐方法 根据协议，iDev将在未来三年投入500万美元用于实验室的建设和运营，并为NUS学生提供实习和就业机会。 人才培养 除了联合研究，双方还将共同开设"AI工程实践"课程，邀请iDev资深工程师担任客座讲师，帮助学生将课堂知识与产业实践相结合。每年将有20名优秀学生获得iDev提供的全额奖学金。
Deep Industry-Academia Integration iDev and NUS School of Computing have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly establish the "iDev-NUS AI Application Lab," dedicated to transforming cutting-edge AI research into practical commercial applications. Research Focus Multimodal AI: Research on understanding and generating multiple data modalities including text, image, and speech Domain-Specific LLMs: Training specialized large language models for vertical industries such as finance, legal, and healthcare AI Safety & Alignment: Exploring safety evaluation and value alignment methods for AI systems Under the agreement, iDev will invest $5 million over three years for the lab's construction and operations, and provide internship and employment opportunities for NUS students.
