Mumbai R&D Center Now Operational In September 2026, iDev's new R&D center located in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex business district officially began operations. This is iDev's fifth regional R&D center in Asia, following Tokyo, Bangkok, Shenzhen, and Ho Chi Minh City. Center Focus and Scale The Mumbai R&D center starts with a team of 50, including full-stack engineers, DevOps specialists, product managers, and technical support engineers. The center will focus on the following areas: Development and optimization of cloud-native infrastructure components Localized solutions for the Indian and South Asian markets Multi-language support frameworks (Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, etc.) Regional node deployment for low-latency API gateways Talent Strategy India hosts one of the world's largest developer communities. iDev plans to expand the Mumbai team to 150 within the next 18 months.
